SoforTe GmbH is an IT service company founded in 2002. Our team supports you in all of the methodical and technical tasks which arise during team-oriented processes. In particular, this applies to the full range of application development.
The foundation of SoforTe GmbH was the logical result of many years of freelance activity and know-how in the field of application development, and it placed the acquired knowledge and expertise of the firm’s founders on a broader basis. Similarly, the self-developed software product “PDVC” (Project Documentation and Version Control) called for new configurations.
Experience and Expertise
Since the time the founder of the firm, Udo Partsch, first brought his more than 10 years of successful consulting within the data processing market into the company, several large-scale and leading firms, particularly from the banking and insurance fields, have been counted among the regular customers of SoforTe.
In the Consulting area SoforTe develops customized solutions for the optimization of processes related to application development. In this connection, key activities include the generation of alternatives, the integration of methods and tools, software configuration management, and the assignment of central meta-repository systems.
Current areas of particular interest are the employment of the Eclipse-based development environments known as Rational Applcation Developer (RAD former: Rational Application Developer (RAD)) and WebSphere Developer for zSeries (Rational Developer for System z (RDz), aka WebSphere Developer for System z (RDz), as well as the integration of Domino/Notes functionality into the development environment.
